A micro-wedding is exactly as the name suggestions, an intimate celebration that’s somewhere between an informal elopement and the usual Little Wilderness daytime wedding.

Choose from one of our many beautiful ceremony locations to say your I Do’s and I Love You’s in front of up to 30 of your nearest and dearest, before taking the photos you’ve always dreamed of around the property. There’s also the option to move to our venue for celebratory drinks afterwards; it’s already furnished, requiring no extra decoration.

To keep celebrations cost-effective, we offer Micro-Weddings as mid-week only. Occasionally we do make exceptions depending on vendor availability, get in touch to know more.

    It’s not just about spending less money. The packages from our event partners cover the basics of decoration, food, beverages. Most importantly all of the admin is done for you so you can be present on your day.

    Plan an intimate ceremony with us and join your friends and family a one of Auckland’s bars or clubs to get the party started after. We also have reception options if you prefer to stay and savour the moment with a celebration here.

    A beautiful and budget friendly wedding prepared by celebrant Valeria Antipenko.

The Little Wedding Service

3 hour package for up to 30 guests - $2300 (incl GST)

If you’re looking for a no-frills simple ceremony in the perfect indoor/outdoor location, Little Wilderness provides it’s own in-house wedding service with our co-founder, George Vodanovich, as your celebrant.

This package is designed for those that want to prioritise their ceremony and stunning photo locations such as our waterfall, glasshouse and meadows.

These are 3 hour bookings strictly mid-week only and you can opt for an AM or PM wedding between the hours of 10am-6pm.

Included in The Little Wedding Service package:

  • Celebrant services with templated ceremony script

  • Stream-side ceremony location in the orchard or rocky outcrop

  • Wedding arch

  • Wet-weather option with a beautiful view

  • Indoor/outdoor furniture

  • Custom bar with basic setup and ice for you to BYO beverages.

  • Glassware (white wine + champagne flutes).

Kia Ora - my name is Kerry Sorensen-Tyrer and I am the founder, celebrant, planner and host of Eco Wed, offering intimate sustainable wedding packages.

I'm thrilled to be in partnership with George and the team at Little Wilderness, offering inclusive wedding packages for couples looking for something cost effective, that kinder to the planet.

Our Ecowed Little Wilderness package is small, sustainable and beautiful. It produces minimal waste, yet includes the essential components needed for an intimate wedding up to 30 people.

Pop-Ups with Valeria Antipenko

An experienced celebrant with many other talents, Valeria has teamed up with Little Wilderness to create a comprehensive 3-hour pop-up sedding package.

Enjoy a small and beautiful ceremony with canapés to follow, all coordinated by Valeria. Bridal flowers are also included!

Included in all micro-wedding bookings:

  • Venue Hire for 3-4 hours (depending on your chosen package) with access to multiple indoor/outdoor ceremony areas.

  • Arch options with white outdoor ceremony chairs.

  • PA equipment including portable speakers and microphones.

  • A selection of indoor/outdoor furniture including a custom outdoor bar.

  • Modern facilities including wifi, drinks chillers and accessible bathrooms.

  • All packages available Tuesday-Thursday — Fridays and Saturdays released occasionally.

  • All prices include GST.
